ASU-57 – Soviet Light Tank Destroyer

Historical Overview:
The ASU-57 is a Soviet light tank destroyer developed in the 1950s to support airborne forces. Its lightweight design and ability to be dropped by parachute made it an excellent fire support vehicle for airborne units. It was used by the Polish People's Army and other Warsaw Pact armies, as well as in armed conflicts such as the Vietnam War.
